About the project
Net Zero Heroes is an Erasmus+ initiative dedicated to inspiring and supporting women in vocational education and training (VET) to pursue careers in the green technology sector.
The project aims to increase the visibility and participation of women in green technology careers through mentoring, awareness campaigns, and professional development for VET educators.
Running from October 2025 to September 2027, the initiative brings together seven European partners across Spain, Ireland, Malta, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Croatia.
Together, we are building a more inclusive green future.

Fundación Ayesa
Fundación Ayesa is a technological foundation based in Seville, Spain. Its mission is to promote scientific and technological development within society to achieve inclusive social well-being and equity. Fundación Ayesa seeks to democratize ICT research and innovation through collaboration with the public sector, private organizations, research groups, and the educational sector at all levels. To pursue its goals, Fundación Ayesa engages in national and international R&D&I projects, organises workshops and events aimed at promoting STEAM education among children, especially girls, funds initiatives within the third sector, and rewards academic excellence.

Women Elevation Malta is a non-profit organisation set up in 2024. It has the noble aim of promoting self-development and entrepreneurial spirit as a way of life for women, not just as business persons, but also as workers, mothers, and citizens on a national, European, and Mediterranean level.

W.E.M. is dedicated to facilitating mentorship programs that connect women entrepreneurs with experienced mentors and industry experts who can provide invaluable guidance. Skills Elevation FHB
Skills Elevation FHB (Germany), based in Berlin, are industry leaders in the development, piloting and roll-out of innovative digital media learning formats and their application in a range of educational settings. These formats include online learning, mobile & blended learning resources, gamification and challenge-based learning and modular training materials for virtual learning environments. Skills Elevation FHB believe in empowering and upskilling educators, teachers and trainers who work with disadvantaged young people, youth not currently engaged in employment, education or training (NEETs), and marginalised adult learners who are seeking to re- engage with learning.

The Vocational Training Institute (BFI) is one of Austria's largest educational institutions.
